We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Workplace Interior Design company that has more than 20 years of history in Singapore. This Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing project costs, from conception to completion. This role contribute significantly to cost-effectiveness and financial transparency. Their expertise not only aids in preventing budget overruns but also enables efficient procurement, contract administration, and overall project financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for workplace design projects.
• Evaluate project requirements and provide input on budgetary considerations.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the design and construction phases.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate bids and proposals for cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare regular reports on project costs, highlighting any variances from the budget.
• Provide financial updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and organised records of project costs, invoices, and financial documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of contractual documents.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation, preferably in Workplace project experience.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
