R&D Chemist (Skincare/Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:

·     Assist supervisor with formulations. 

·     Develop and formulate products according to project briefs. 

·     Optimize existing formulations for improved performance, stability, or compliance with regulatory changes.

·     Source and evaluate new or alternative raw materials when required. 

·     Perform necessary tests, including but not limited to stability testing, packaging compatibility testing, and performance evaluations.

·     Support and troubleshoot product quality issues.

·     Provide technical support during scale-up, pilot batches, and production.

·     Ensure that formulations comply with regulatory standards. 

·     Work closely with other departments such as product development, regulatory, sales, QA/QC and production. 

·     Maintain a good document control system for formulation and other technical information. 

·     Ensure GMP and regulatory requirement.

·     Any other adhoc work assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement:

·     Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.

·     Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in personal care formulation or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 

·     Strong understanding of raw materials, and formulation techniques.

·     Familiarity with GMP and regulatory guidelines. 

·     Good team player, passionate and patient. 

·     Meticulous and organized.
