R&D Process Technician (Shift)

Role Responsibilities: \n\n * Prepare wafers for experimentation to include cleaning and preparation of reactors \n\n * Prepare cross-section samples for scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis\n\n * Operate reactors to perform thin film processes, under supervision.\n\n * Operate scanning electron microscope for cross-section and top-view, critical dimension (CD), or energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis and imaging \n\n * Identify some patterns of interest in imaging\n\n * Record process conditions and experimental observations\n\n * Understand basic scanning electron microscope (SEM) principles \n\n * Responsible for single technology products\n\n * Perform scanning electron microscope (SEM) system software alignment functions\n\n * Evaluate wafers and thin films\n\n * Perform routine maintenance procedures including flash and plasma clean\n\n * Effectively operate laboratory process equipment and instrumentation\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * ITE/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science) or related field.\n\n * Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor processing equipment is a plus.\n\n * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.\n\n * Basic understanding of process control and data analysis.\n\n * Good communication and teamwork skills.\n\n * Must be able to commit Monday - Friday (9am-6pm/ 2pm - 11pm)\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * Science Park II (Moving to Tampines in end 2026)\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nTechnical Diploma\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n1 - 2 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Enhanced)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
