R&D Senior Mechanical Engineer (Smart Home) - Growth-Minded Organization

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and verify the energy management devices.
• Create/optimize mechanical system architecture for energy management devices.
• Prepare design documents such as DFMEA, BOM, and test plans.
• Mechanical component cost estimation & optimization.
• Prototype assembly and verification.
• Communication with 3rd parties for mechanical technical discussion 
• Maintain and document functionality. 
• Work closely with overseas R&D, Quality, Certification, and new product introduction teams. 

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree / Master’s in mechanical engineering. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical product design relevant field
• Proficient in CAD(SOLIDWORKS), FMEA, DFM, DFA, GD&T & tolerance analysis tools
• Proficient in Sheetmetal and plastic part design
• Experience in Module and system design for electrical products
• Experience in a minimum 1 full product development cycle from conceptual to mass production
• Experience in Power electrical products is a plus.
• A team player with good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently, flexibly, and creatively.
• Able to travel overseas. (e.g. China, Taiwan etc.)
• Familiar with UL standards will be an added advantage.
• Candidates fluent in English and Mandarin will be preferred, as they must liaise with our Taiwan counterparts.
