We are representing a global Automotive Tier 1 Supplier (MNC) who has a huge R&D presence (>1,000 Engineers in Singapore) in hiring for a newly created role in Singapore.

R&D System Architect (Principal / Senior Engineer - Embedded Software background)

Job Description

· Lead design and development of overall system architecture concepts for business unit’s software assets.

· Work and collaborate closely with team of Software Architects to ensure harmonization of assets within overall software system.

· These include standardization of assets with defined architecture compatible to overall system, additionally ensure portability and reusability of assets for various system architecture

· Responsible for software integration and implementation, ensuring software system are according to defined design and requirement.

· Define standardized acceptance criteria and environment across all assets.

· The tasks shall include defining system requirement, interfaces, validation/qualification, profiling, release, documentation, toolchain, etc.

· Define integration strategy and validation strategy for assets working in various system architecture.

· Lead team to ensure implementation of defined architectures and criteria.

· Lead / support technical presentation / discussion with customers.

Job Requirements

· Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferable in automotive product or embedded system development.

· Minimum 6 years’ experience with software/system architecture design role.

· Strong experience in embedded system architecture (hardware and software), preferably in multi-core heterogenous software architecture.

· Strong experience with multiple operating system commonly used in embedded system or automotive industry, e.g., Linux, QNX, Integrity, Android, AUTOSAR, etc.

· Strong software analysis and architecture design skill.

· Good hands-on skill for proof-of-concept implementation (e.g., software integration, hardware bring-up, prototyping, programming, troubleshooting).

· Excellent communication, presentation, organization skills.

· Strong technical team leadership.
