Receptionist A

Job Description

• Attend to incoming calls, enquiries, visitors and deliveries promptly and professionally
• Manage the reception counter and provide courteous assistance to students, parents, staff and other stakeholders
• Attend to unwell or injured students and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure their safe departure
• Provide basic first aid support and maintain first aid supplies
• Communicate and liaise with parents on administrative matters
• Perform general office administrative duties, including data entry and preparation of documents and spreadsheets
• Monitor and maintain office supplies and assist with related administrative errands
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in front desk reception duties
• Prior reception experience in a school environment is preferred
• Experience in a primary school setting will be an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Warm, caring and empathetic personality with maturity
• Good customer service and telephone etiquette skills
• Meticulous, organised and able to exercise initiative
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Basic First Aid with CPR and AED certification is preferred

Duration/Working Hours: 

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break

Fridays: 7:00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break

School holidays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 45-min lunch break
