Regional Finance Manager

Our client, a well-established MNC, is looking for a Finance Manager to head up its regional accounting and reporting function. You will drive month-end closing, governance, and controls, and help improve processes across the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accounting records comply with group policies, local statutory requirements, local GAAP and IFRS
2. Oversee timely and accurate month-end closing and quarterly corporate reporting
3. Ensure compliance with group policies, local tax and statutory requirements, and manage internal and external audit processes
4. Maintain documentation and records in line with group and local statutory guidelines
5. Liaise with tax agents and authorities on annual tax computation, GST reporting, and tax queries
6. Monitor regional cash flow, optimise cash and loan positions, and ensure accurate cash flow forecasting
7. Serve as the regional escalation point for accounting process and system issues, coordinating resolution across finance and IT
8. Lead process harmonisation, standardisation, and automation initiatives, including documentation, training, testing, and change management
9. Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Accountancy, CPA/CA qualification preferred
2. Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with regional exposure
3. Strong ERP knowledge with hands-on GL, AP and AR experience
4. Strong ownership mindset, analytical and problem-solving abilities
5. Willingness to travel
