The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Government Business Development Lead to drive public-sector engagement across the ASEAN region. This role serves as a strategic connector between the organization and government stakeholders, ensuring strong visibility, early intelligence on policy developments, and the identification of regional partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain high-trust relationships with ministries, regulators, and government-linked bodies across ASEAN.
Monitor, interpret, and summarize policy directions, national programs, digital-economy initiatives, and regulatory updates.
Develop connectivity with immigration and manpower-related agencies to support talent-mobility initiatives.
Support advocacy and engagement strategies aligned with business and organisational goals.
Represent the organisation in forums, consultations, dialogues, and cross-industry working groups.
Prepare concise policy briefs, recommendations, and talking points for senior leaders.
Collaborate with regional business teams to identify opportunities arising from government programs and upcoming initiatives.
Provide early intelligence on investment climates, incentives, or sector-focused government plans.
Articulate the organisation's capabilities to public-sector stakeholders to build awareness of available solutions.
Work closely with country leads across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and other markets to support government-related activities.
Ensure consistent positioning and strategic alignment across the region.

Essential Requirement:

5-7 years of experience in government relations, public-sector business development, stakeholder engagement, or partnership-driven roles.
Established networks within government agencies, or a proven ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with ministries, regulators, and public-sector bodies to support business growth.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers effectively.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify government-driven opportunities, translate public-sector priorities into business insights, and surface partnership pathways for leadership consideration.
