My client is a global industrial group that caters specifically to the semiconductor industry. They are looking for a Regional Head of Supply Chain to optimise the supply chain process and set up a production facility in Asia.

Your new role

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's goals. This includes setting up a production facility in Asia, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and boosting customer satisfaction.
  
• Inventory Management: Optimise inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations while maintaining high service levels.
  
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal teams to drive collaboration and innovation across the supply chain.
  
• Logistics Optimization: Streamline logistics across production, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments like sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing to ensure supply chain activities align with demand, sales projections, and production plans.
  
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulations that affect the supply chain. Proactively identify risks and opportunities to adapt strategies.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management
  
• Minimum of 12 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in a supply chain leadership role with a focus on developing and implementing successful processes in a complex environment
  
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems are essential
