Job Description - Regional Marketing Specialist

Promega (Singapore) – a subsidiary of Promega USA is a leader in providing innovative solutions to the life sciences industry. The company's 4,000 products enable scientists worldwide to advance their knowledge in genomics, proteomics, cellular analysis, drug discovery, clinical diagnostics and human identification.

Equipped with a regional inventory hub, a global support and instrument service centre and a scientific applications laboratory, the team focuses on sales, marketing, distribution and technical support to customers in Singapore and the Asia Pacific markets.

We are currently seeking for a Regional Marketing Specialist

 

Objectives:

  • Assist with the planning, implementation, and tracking of our marketing strategy and lead generation initiatives.
  • Strategize, take ownership, and champion marketing events and projects to ensure milestones and timelines are met across parallel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams from channel partners in Asia to ensure alignment and effective implementation of regional marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain a strong and consistent local expression of the Promega brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing tactics.
  • Foster relationships with global marketing colleagues to develop and leverage joint resources.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Promega’s values to ensure the appropriate voice and tone are applied across external media.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute content and email marketing, web pages, and social media campaigns. Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels.
  • Adapt customer journeys from global sources to local personas.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Core Teams to prioritize marketing efforts aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Support the sales team with lead generation and nurturing. 
  • Design collaterals and sales tools to drive promotions and customer engagement in events.
  • Experiment with various organic and paid lead acquisition channels.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure alignment on keywords for social content, inbound marketing, and SEO.
  • Regularly track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities through benchmarks, measurements, and recommendations.
  • Develop and report on promotions and events.
  • Assist in analysing marketing data to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute and support sales events and trainings.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure vendor deliverables are met according to agreed specification and timelines.
  • Manage CRM and support contacts/leads entry, database clean-up, and customer profiling/tagging.
  • Coordinate regional communication with channel partners on sales tools, product launches, surveys, and events.
  • Gain proficiency in Promega’s globally managed technologies: Sitecore, Showpad, Widen (Digital Asset Management), ON24 (webinar), Khoros (social media monitoring), Power BI, Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Dynamics for Marketing.
  • Stay informed on marketing effectiveness, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Formal education in marketing, business, or a related field with at least 5 years’ experience in traditional and digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, and content marketing. 
  • Proficiency with CRM, marketing tools and related systems.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite of tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communications (written & verbal), and project management skills. 
  • Highly motivated and resourceful individual who is driven by results.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive marketing programs from concept to execution. 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and follow-up. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge in Life Science content marketing would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in using AI technologies to enhance marketing strategies and content creation would be an advantage.
