Freelance PR Strategist

Hire Digital is seeking a PR Strategist to lead and execute high-impact communications strategies for a fintech/payment tech brand looking to build thought leadership across Singapore and international media. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing PR campaigns that position C-suite executives as authoritative voices in the financial and technology sectors. This role will focus on securing top-tier media coverage in publications such as The Straits Times, The Business Times, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, and other influential regional and global outlets.

• Develop and drive strategic PR plans that align with the client’s business goals and communications objectives.
• Craft compelling narratives and media angles that elevate the brand’s reputation and establish its leadership in fintech/payment innovation.
• Identify media opportunities and pitch C-suite executives for feature stories, thought leadership, and interviews across targeted media platforms.
• Maintain strong relationships with journalists and editors in Singapore and internationally, particularly in finance, business, and tech media.
• Lead the development of press releases, op-eds, briefing documents, and executive profiles.
• Monitor media coverage and provide insights, media training, and feedback to the client.

• Experience in PR, media relations, or communications, preferably with a focus on fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Solid network of media contacts across Singapore and global business/finance media outlets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of media trends in the fintech and tech-for-enterprise space.
• Ability to collaborate closely with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with international clients or brands with regional/global presence is a strong plus.
