The Role

As Regional Commercial Manager Bake APAC, you will drive the commercial growth of our Bake business across the region, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia. Combining commercial leadership with direct sales responsibility, you will lead the regional Sales and Technical Service team while developing key customers, new business opportunities and our distributor network. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive profitable growth and execute the commercial strategy for the Bake business across Asia Pacific region 


• Lead and develop the regional Sales and Technical Service team while actively contributing to sales and business development


• Manage and grow strategic customer relationships through professional Key Account Management and value selling


• Identify and develop new customers, markets and business opportunities across the region


• Develop and manage the regional distributor network and drive partner performance


• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities


• Manage sales performance, forecasting, budgeting and profitability


• Collaborate with regional and global functions to support customer needs, portfolio development and commercial execution

About You

• Several years of commercial and sales experience within baking, baking enzymes or related food ingredients 


• Proven experience in Asia Pacific market and a strong network within relevant customers, distributors and industry stakeholders


• Strong track record in B2B sales, business development and Key Account Management


• Experience in value selling and distributor management


• Proven leadership experience, ideally managing commercial and/or technical teams


• Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and results-oriented mindset


• Negotiation and stakeholder management skills in an international environment 


• Based in Singapore, Malaysia or elsewhere in Southeast Asia 


• Excellent communication skills in English
