Research Analyst (Real Estate)

PropNex Research offers internal and external business partners a wide range of real estate research materials and content. As well as to the media – including sectorial research reports, consumer surveys, analysis of housing policies, and commentaries on home sales, land tenders, and commercial property market trends.

The work is fast-paced and rewarding, with opportunities to collaborate with real estate experts and key leaders in the firm. Applicants should have a good understanding of real estate fundamentals and policies, proficiency in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders across functions. The work scope will cover various real estate segments, from residential to the commercial property sectors (office, industrial, shophouses).

Responsibilities: 

1. Perform research analysis, and interpret data and insights to draft client presentations, consumer seminar materials, market commentaries, and scheduled research reports.
2. Summarise data for the production of infographics and visual materials; work closely with the marketing and branding team to promote research content.
3. Support the team in providing relevant research data and information for media queries and news releases.
4. Maintain and upkeep data sets; seek different ways to approach data management, as needed.
5. Partner with business leaders to offer thought leadership content and help with special projects, where relevant.
6. Conceptualise editorial content and contribute articles to the PropNex blog regularly.
7. Perform ad-hoc data-related tasks as requested by other departments and business heads.

Requirements:

1.  Degree / Diploma in Real Estate, Business, Journalism, or its other equivalent.
2. Preferably someone with 3 years of working experience in similar roles, analyzing and interpreting real estate market data.
3. Good understanding of Singapore real estate fundamentals, policies, and proficiency in data analysis.
4. Possess an inquisitive and analytical mindset, strong in numbers, and adept in data crunching and identifying trends. 
5. Strong in spoken and written English communication.
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel. 
7. Able to work independently under tight deadlines, as well as collaboratively with other teams, as required.

Other Information

• Working Location: Toa Payoh (HDB Hub near Toa Payoh MRT Station)
• Five (5) day work week, Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 6.00pm (With 1 Hour Break)
