It focuses on overlooked and emerging social challenges, and how public policies can create an open, diverse and inclusive society. Its activities aim to influence policy thinking, shape public conversations and promote opportunities for participation. Established in 2020, the SIP has been involved in studies such as Singapore’s first Nationwide Street Count of Homelessness and Minimum Income Standards.
The Research Assistant will support SIP’s research projects (across all stages, such as literature review, fieldwork, analysis, writing and dissemination), and outreach and engagement initiatives. They will also assist with other administrative tasks to enable the smooth running of SIP.
