Introduction:
Join my client’s dynamic team as Research Support Specialist and embark on a rewarding 12-month contract journey with the opportunity for a completion bonus. You'll be at the heart of innovation and discovery, contributing to exciting projects in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of laboratory chemicals and consumables, oversee procurement processes, and efficiently manage inventory to support ongoing projects.
- Compliance and Safety: Coordinate the safe disposal of chemicals and waste, ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to safety protocols. Support site maintenance activities and liaise with vendors to uphold safety standards.
- Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks including purchase orders, parcel shipments, scheduling, and compliance with COVID-19 safety regulations to ensure seamless operations.
- Technical Assistance: Provide valuable technical support by assisting with formulation requests, scale-up activities, sample preparation, and prototype packing, contributing to the success of research and development initiatives.
- Preferably holds a Diploma related to applied chemistry, chemical engineering, chemical process technology, or equivalent field, demonstrating a strong foundation in scientific principles.
- Entry level or candidates with 1-3 years of relevant work experience, with exposure to laboratory environments and inventory management systems.
