Job Description - Research Fellow ( AI for Energy Storage System )

School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. We are looking for a Research Fellow to work on a project on Li-ion battery ageing analysis and experiment testing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform experiment testing for Li-ion batteries

  • Development of heath indicators based on the experiment testing data

  • Development of machine learning models for battery health assessment and remaining useful life prediction 

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related subjects.

  • Expert knowledge in Li-ion batteries and machine learning techniques, as well experiment testing.

  • Research experience with battery ageing analysis, machine learning model development.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.

  • Able to work independently and in a team to realize proposed research work.

  • Publication track record is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as matlab and Python.
