Research Fellow (Civil Engineering)

A one-year Research Fellow position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Major responsibility of this position involves conducting laboratory and field tests on sustainable construction materials, as well as writing project reports and scientific papers. Additionally, the appointee will assist the PI in writing research proposals and supervising students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting laboratory test on sustainable construction materials

• Writing project reports

• Writing scientific papers

• Supervising research students

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Civil Engineering from reputable universities/institutions

• Research experience in sustainable construction materials

• Strong publication record in decent journals (published more than 4 journal papers) 

• Good English writing and communication skills - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

• Experience in supervising research students and writing research proposals

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
