Research Fellow (Membrane Technology)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. Our research group focuses on developing advanced membranes and related processes for energy-efficient separations in areas such as energy, environment, and pharmaceuticals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and to work within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at NTU.

The Research Fellow will take on a significant role in the design, synthesis, fabrication, and testing of novel membrane materials, and in translating research outcomes into impactful publications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and synthesize novel monomers and polymers

• Develop and optimize membrane fabrication techniques

• Conduct advanced material characterization and performance testing

• Draft manuscripts and publish in leading journals

• Present findings at conferences and support collaborations

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

• Research experience in polymer synthesis, membrane science, or advanced materials

• Hands-on expertise in membrane fabrication and characterization

• Strong publication record in reputable journals

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
