Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Lee Ching Hua on quantum and topological transport under a project on non-equilibrium Moire physics.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Computation of the energy bands of twisted topological bilayer systems
• Computation of non-Hermitian band structures
• Simulation of transport properties in 2D materials

Qualifications

Ph.D in Physics

Skills:

• Programming in Mathematica, Python or equivalent; computational material science/DFT

Experience:

• Experience in non-Hermitian theory and 2D materials
• Must have ample of experience writing 5 or more papers, and must have submitted at least one PRL paper.
