Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Somabha Mukherjee on Mixing in Exponential Random Graph and Related Graphical Models under a project on "Inferring Complex Structural And Functional Connectivity In Causal And Graphical Models, With Applications In Genomics And Neurobiology".

The main responsibilities of the position include deriving mathematical results about mixing times in exponential random graph models and related graphical models, as well as light coding. 

Qualifications / Discipline: 
-    Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree on Mathematics/Statistics with main focus on probability theory.

Skills: 
-    Candidate should be theoretically strong, with experience in working on statistical physics and/or random graph models.

Experience:  
-    Strong theoretical background with some coding experience.
