We are looking for a passionate individual to join our recently awarded research project on functional oxide thin films for Advanced Photonics.
Job Description
• Growth of oxide thin films on Si wafers by physical vapor deposition.
• Structural characterization of oxide thin films by atomic force microscopy, high resolution X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy.
• Work closely with theory team to understand the film growth mechanisms.
• Design, nanofabrication, and testing of photonic devices.
• Publish experimental findings in peer-reviewed journals and file patent applications.
Job Requirements
•PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry is required.
•Strong skills in data analysis, with preferred experience in photonic devices.
•Experience in oxide thin film deposition by sputtering, PLD, MBE is preferred. Solid understanding in film growth mechanism and rich experience in structural and characterization techniques is an advantage.
•Excellent track records of scientific publications in peer-reviewed high impact journals.
