Resident Technical Officer

Job Description:

• To assist the Consultant in supervision of the construction of the Structural Works under Building Control Act.
• To supervise and inspect the Contractor's works to ensure the works on site are of the expected quality.
• To ensure proper site documentation is maintained.
• Monitoring the constructions activities.
• To conduct other related duties as required by the Consultants and Developer.
• To verify that the Contractor's defects rectification are completed satisfactorily.
• To monitor and track the defects rectification meet the service standards set.
• To attend joint inspections with residents to better understand their requests/feedback where required.
• To conduct HDB approved plans to safeguard building structures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the supervision of building projects in Singapore, preferably in HDB projects.
• Possess at least the National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS)
• Experience in precast structural works, prefabricated bathroom unit construction works and able to supervise architectural works or M&E works are essential. Candidates who are able to supervise inter-discipline works would be beneficial.
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures and construction administration.
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Employment contract period is approximately 12 months (with option to extend)
• Able to start work immediately preferred
• 5.5 days work week.
