Job Summary

The Resident Technical Officer (Civil & Structural) oversees daily site supervision and inspection to ensure construction quality, compliance, and accurate documentation for civil and structural projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site supervision to ensure adherence to civil and structural engineering standards and project specifications
• Inspect construction workmanship to identify and resolve quality issues promptly
• Verify the compliance of materials and construction activities with approved plans and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and reports to support project tracking and audits

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience
• BCSS certification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on major construction projects
