As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Evaluate and adjust patients on mechanical ventilators and provide respiratory support like CPAP, BIPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula 
• Conduct airway and respiratory procedures, including blood gas sampling, suctioning, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation, extubation, and surfactant administration 
• Assist in transporting mechanically ventilated patients within and between hospitals 
• Develop respiratory care plans and recommend therapy changes based on patient assessments 
• Engage in ward rounds and discussions about patient care plans 
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment
• Monitor and manage respiratory inventory stock 
• Provide interprofessional education, training, and guidance to healthcare team members and students 
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research projects

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Accredited training institution credentials
