Role Overview

The Retail Management Associate is a high-ownership, commercially driven role designed to build future retail leaders at PRISM+. You will gain exposure across retail operations, events, commercial strategy, and performance analytics while driving initiatives that directly impact revenue and customer experience.

This role goes beyond traditional retail execution—you will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise store performance, execute large-scale retail activations, and turn operational and customer data into actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities

Retail Operations and Store Performance

  • Support day-to-day retail operations across stores and retail channels to ensure strong commercial execution.
  • Monitor store performance metrics including sales productivity, conversion, traffic, ATV, attachment rates, and operational KPIs.
  • Identify performance gaps and work with stakeholders to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Standardise retail SOPs and execution quality across locations.
  • Partner with frontline teams to improve customer experience and sales outcomes.
  • Support manpower planning, rostering visibility, and operational readiness where required.

Retail Events and Commercial Activations

  • Plan and execute retail events including megashows, roadshows, pop-ups, and campaign activations.
  • Coordinate event readiness across inventory, manpower, logistics, pricing, merchandising, and promotional mechanics.
  • Track live event performance and recommend actions to maximise commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct post-event reviews and translate insights into future improvements.
  • Support expansion opportunities and retail launches.

Data Analytics and Business Strategy

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for retail performance.
  • Analyse sales, conversion, product mix, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate operational data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Support forecasting, target setting, and retail planning initiatives.
  • Drive process improvement projects to improve scalability and efficiency.

Cross Functional Project Management

  • Work across Retail, Commercial, Operations, CX, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to execute initiatives.
  • Lead or support strategic projects from ideation through execution.
  • Build structured business cases and present recommendations to stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, or related disciplines.
  • 0–3 years of experience in retail, consulting, operations, analytics, commercial, startups, or fast-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort working with data.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; experience with BI tools is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable being hands-on in operations while thinking strategically.
  • Willingness to support retail events during weekends or outside standard office hours when required.
