Retail Meat Packer (Warehouse)

Responsibilities

• Pack retail products accurately according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Check product quality, quantity, labels, and expiry dates before packing.
• Ensure products are packed neatly and securely for delivery.
• Assist with sorting, labeling, and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing and warehouse areas.
• Follow all food hygiene, workplace safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure daily packing targets are achieved.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately.
• Support stock handling and other warehouse-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by Management.

Requirements

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive packing duties.
• Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment with temperatures of approximately 10°C to 15°C for extended periods.
• Prior experience in packing, warehouse, food production, or logistics will be an added advantage, but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
