The Company

The company is a Real Estate Private Markets division of a renowned group and sponsor, encompassing both Public and Private market business units. Operating on a global scale, it has effectively invested in a diverse portfolio of traditional and innovative real estate assets, while successfully launching multiple Funds. 

The Position

As the Risk and Compliance Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance. Your primary responsibilities will entail providing strategic advice to management while ensuring compliance with pertinent laws and regulations, encompassing MAS guidelines related to AML/CFT, the MAS Business Trust Act, and SGX Listing Rules. Central to your role will be managing the ERP framework and collaborating closely with business leaders to uphold operational-level adherence to risk management processes. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of risk and compliance programs. Serving as the key liaison for regulators, you will support management in reporting to the board committee on risk and compliance-related matters. 

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking and possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, ideally within the REIT/business trust/fund management sector. Candidates should demonstrate a sound understanding of laws and regulations, particularly MAS and SGX Listing Rules. To excel in this position, candidates must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, autonomy in work execution, and a results-driven approach.
