Job Description - SA, Application Developer, Future Ready Technology, Group Technology

Business Function

Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, pain points, and objectives for PeopleTech initiatives
Analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows to define the scope and specifications of complex, employee-facing platforms and strategic programs
Design and develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to guide the development and implementation of technology solutions
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, project managers, and technology experts, to ensure the successful delivery of PeopleTech initiatives
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, validate solutions, and drive consensus among stakeholders
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the development team to ensure the delivered solutions meet the business requirements
Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, and recommend enhancements or improvements
Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and templates to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business systems analysis function

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, employee-facing platforms and strategic programs
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, user story writing, and requirements management
Familiarity with HR and employee-facing technology solutions, such as HRIS, talent management, and employee experience platforms
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
