Job Description - SaaS/Tech Business Development Manager (SEA)

The team you will be part of


Our business development team is in the driver's seat of growth for Intrepid. We develop precise local and regional insights on what the next big thing for e-commerce is, grow our e-commerce network in the region and work with our internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions for our new clients. We oversee the end-to-end business development process in our respective markets and make everyday impact on a fast-growing organization.



The part you will play


We are looking for a strategic and high-energy SaaS/Tech Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our enterprise e-commerce technology suite across Southeast Asia. You will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation for Tier-1 brands, helping them navigate complex multi-channel ecosystems through our proprietary SaaS solutions.



As a SaaS/Tech Business Development Manager (SEA) , you will take charge of 



  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Identify market gaps and competitor movements within the SEA e-commerce enabler and SaaS landscape.

  • Solution Architecting: Work closely with brands to understand their technical pain points (ERP integrations, OMS/WMS sync, cross-border complexities) and map them to our product capabilities.

  • Commercial Leadership: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to high-level negotiations with C-suite stakeholders.

  • Product Feedback Loop: Act as the "voice of the market," providing the Product and Tech teams with actionable insights on required features and local market nuances.



What we are looking for - the ideal profile



  • Industry Experience: 4–7 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management within the E-commerce SaaS, MarTech, or Enabler space.

  • Product Fluency: A deep understanding of how E-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify) integrate with enterprise middleware.

  • Strategic Network: Proven track record of managing enterprise-level clients locally/regionally

  • Competitive Knowledge: Familiarity with the regional tech landscape and the ability to articulate clear value propositions against other market players.
