As our Singapore business continues to expand, we areseeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our team. Thisrole will support workplace safety management, regulatory compliance, andsafety culture development across our semiconductor engineering projects.

Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for sitesafety management, regulatory compliance, safety training, and documentationcontrol. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe workingenvironment, minimizing workplace risks, and ensuring compliance with SingaporeWorkplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, client requirements, andsemiconductor facility safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Safety Management

• Support daily site safety management activities
• Monitor construction and engineering activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and requirements
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments
• Follow up on safety observations, non-conformances, and corrective / preventive actions
• Ensure contractors and workers comply with workplace safety requirements
• Support client and internal safety audits and inspections

2. Safety Documentation &Regulatory Compliance

• Conduct daily morning TBM / JSA with team.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Work Procedure (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved safety procedures and documentation
• Assist in developing and updating safety management systems and procedures
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and client safety requirements

3. Safety Training & Awareness

• Coordinate safety training programs
• Conduct safety orientation for new employees and site personnel to attend safety induction with main contractor
• Promote workplace safety awareness and a positive safety culture
• Assist in incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions on (CAPA report)

4. Project & Client Support

• Support client safety requirements and site audit activities
• Assist project teams in implementing safety management plans
• Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors on safety-related matters
• Coordinate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management and safety resources
• Support semiconductor facility entry applications, work permits, and site access requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant experiences in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, Clean room, Construction, or related fields
• Familiar with clean room, construction site safety management practices
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Sadfety and Health (Level B)
• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures / WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (BizSafe Level 2)
• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Inductry / WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Industry / BCSS
• WSQ Managing Work at Height
• Valid first aider course will be an added advantage
• Other safety related courses
• Ability to work independently and manage safety-related responsibilities effectively
• Strong sense of responsibilities and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor facility projects, M&E works, specialty gas systems, or industrial construction projects
• Familiar with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
• Experience managing MOS, RA, SWP, and PTW documentation
• Possession of Workplace Safety and Health-related certifications
• Experience in client audits, clean room and construction site safety management
• Familiar with semiconductor fab safety requirements and contractor management practices
