Safety Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking two motivated and experienced Safety Coordinators to join our growing construction team supporting semiconductor equipment and facility installation projects in Singapore.

The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating workplace safety activities, ensuring compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, and liaising effectively with both English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor workplace safety and health activities at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct site safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, and records.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Support project teams in implementing risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Facilitate communication between English- and Mandarin-speaking personnel to ensure effective coordination.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator certificate or equivalent recognized in Singapore.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or semiconductor-related projects.
• Experience working in semiconductor facilities or cleanroom environments is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to coordinate with clients and team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Good understanding of Singapore WSH regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor equipment installation projects.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and risk management processes.
• Possession of additional safety certifications will be an advantage.
