Safety Engineer - KH - Urgent

Salary: Basic $3,500 - $4,500 + AWS + VB

Time: Monday - Friday (8am to 5.15pm)

Location: Joo Koon Circle

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and recommending best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
• Assess the company’s HSSE Management System to identify any deviation, weakness or significant change in organization, risk control measures and provide recommendation for improvement.
• Conduct or coordinate In-House Training Program, Safety Promotions or other safety-related activities for all staff.
• Perform safety audits and inspection and to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures.
• Assist in maintaining certifications such as ISO, Bizsafe certificates.
• Conduct weekly 5S inspection and prepare reports.
• Update and manage all Risk Assessment documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Relevant and related Diploma level. 
• Possess professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
• Able to work independently.
