Sale Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, reliable Sales & Shop Manager to run our mini-marts/provision shops. In this role, you will manage daily store operations, drive sales, and work directly on the shop floor to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and well-stocked shelves.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations & Sales

• Boost Sales: Create simple in-store promotions, bundles, and attractive product displays to increase daily sales.

• Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels, order stock from suppliers, and minimize wastage or expired goods.

• Cash & System Management: Oversee the POS system, handle daily cash closing, and ensure accurate pricing labels on shelves.

2. Shop & Supplier Management

• Staff Scheduling: Manage shift rosters to ensure the shops are always adequately staffed during operating hours.

• Hands-on Support: Step in to cashier, restock shelves, and serve customers during peak hours or to cover shifts.

• Supplier Relations: Deal directly with local suppliers to negotiate good prices and ensure timely deliveries.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience working in a mini-mart, convenience store, or grocery shop.

• Skills: Honest, trustworthy, and comfortable using basic retail POS systems and Excel.

• Attitude: A hands-on, proactive mindset. Must be willing to handle stock, lift grocery boxes, and help out wherever needed on the floor.

• Flexibility: Willing to work retail hours, including weekends or public holidays.
