This role will be responsible for leading and managing the business-to-business sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive the revenue growth across the region in alignment with Japan HQ’s directions. Additionally, this role will involve close collaboration with headquarter and factories to align sales strategies, thereby maximizing business opportunities and performance.
Responsibilities
· Deliver sustainable and profitable revenue growth for the business - accountable for market coverage, sales revenue and profitability growth of all relevant products across the region.
· Lead a team to work with cross business, cross function and global team to drive short team and long-term business objectives.
· Establish long-term and sustainable business relationships with external and internal stakeholders, drive customer satisfaction and initiatives in the region to deliver business growth with both regional and local customers.
· Manage Sales team and Service Engineers to collaborate with Support Group to achieve timely execution of product deliveries, quality and services.
· Provides market planning and regional sales forecasting and budgeting; supports the process development, introduction and adoption of commercialized new technology and products.
· Responsible for all local market planning, sales plan, customer trends and intelligence.
Requirements
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
· Minimum 15 years’ experience in relevant industry with more than U$600 million net sales and at least 4 years of demonstrated experience in people and team management, organization development.
· Strong strategic thinking and leadership ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills, to interact with and influence stakeholders of diverse cultural backgrounds to lead the region to achieve business goals.
· Business proficiency in both English and Japanese to handle business documents written in English and Japanese, as well as facilitating in-depth communication with Japan Headquarters or other counterparts from Japan.
