Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Trading
Position Title: Sales Assistant Manager
Working Location: Central – Tanjong Pagar (Walking distance from MRT to company)
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday –Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm)
Salary Package: SGD 3500 – SGD 4000, + AWS
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers on sales & purchases;
- Prepare quotation and offers to customers. Obtain allocation/pricing from suppliers.
- Prepare and check terms and conditions of Sale/Purchase contracts;
- Issuing of proforma invoice for payment;
- Prepare full set of export/import shipping documents;
- Arrange for Marine insurance and third party surveyors for cargoes at loading/discharging ports;
- Check/Sign all shipping documents against Letter of Credit before submission for negotiation;
- Liaising with banks for LC amendments and documents checking at bank;
- Keep tracks of payment status after documents submission and actual time of documents arriving at issuing banks;
- Liaise and negotiate with banks for any LC confirmation, discounting or financing cost;
Other Requirements
- Able to speak Mandarin and write simple Chinese;
- Travelling is a must;
- 1 to 2 years sales experience.
