Our client is in the electronics industry and they have a few openings for the Sales Assistant Manager for their Aircon department
The Sales Assistant Manager is responsible for driving B2B sales growth and expanding the project pipeline for the company's air conditioning business. This role involves managing the complete sales lifecycle—from initial technical consultation to after-sales support—while building strong partnerships with contractors, consultants, developers, and corporate clients.
Develop and manage B2B sales opportunities for a product portfolio including residential splits, multi-splits, PAC, and VRF systems.
Identify new business avenues and actively expand the project pipeline to meet monthly and yearly revenue and profit targets.
Build and maintain strong networks with key industry players: contractors, consultants, developers, dealers, system integrators, and corporate customers.
Work closely with clients to deeply understand their specific project needs, building specifications, site conditions, and budget constraints.
Prepare detailed sales proposals, commercial quotations, product selections, and technical recommendations.
Deliver product presentations, handle technical clarifications, and provide solution support to project stakeholders.
Track project progress through every stage: Enquiry - Quotation - Negotiation - Order Confirmation - Delivery - After-Sales.
Collaborate internally with product, engineering, logistics, service, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer feedback.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecast updates, customer visit logs, and project status updates for management review.
Support marketing activities, product launches, dealer events, and training sessions.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) or a closely related B2B engineering/construction industry.
Technical Familiarity: Understanding of air conditioning systems, specifically residential splits, multi-splits, PAC, and VRF solutions.
Core Competencies: Strong relationship-building skills, technical presentation capabilities, proposal drafting, and cross-functional coordination.
