Sales Associate (ASEAN)

Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to support their institutional sales team covering ASEAN markets. The successful candidate will work closely with senior sales professionals to manage client relationships, execute trades efficiently and deliver high-quality service to institutional investors.

This role is suited to someone with 2–3 years of relevant experience who has a solid understanding of equity markets, enjoys working with clients, and is looking to build a long-term career in institutional sales.

1. Support senior sales professionals in servicing institutional clients across ASEAN markets.
2. Execute client orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding market developments, investment ideas, and execution updates.
4. Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients and internal stakeholders, including research, trading and sales teams.
5. Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to enhance client engagement.
6. Assist with client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
7. Prepare sales materials, market updates, and client reports as required.
8. Ensure timely follow-up on client requests and deliver a high standard of client service.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
2. 2–3 years of experience in institutional equities sales, sales trading, capital markets or a related financial markets role.
3. Good understanding of ASEAN equity markets and institutional sales processes.
4. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with institutional clients.
5. Detail-oriented with strong execution capabilities and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
7. Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
8. Fluency in English is required; local language proficiency(Thai, Bahasa) is advantageous to support interactions with local stakeholders and clients.
