JOB PURPOSE:
Provide administrative and customer support to the sales team, working as a team towards the yearly revenue goal. Set up and maintain department’s filing system, database management, business tracing system, Sales & Catering Management System,work closely with other related departments to ensure smooth workflow within the hotel.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. To provide general administration duties and customer support for the S&M department.
2. Responsible in monitoring and updating the various systems related to S&M department including Fidelio Opera Sales & Catering.
3. Lanyon, Go Leads and My Portal. My Portal need to be checked minimum 3 times a day.
4. Ensures smooth flow of inter-department information so that support services can be provided for S&M.
5. Ensures that the filing of contracts, processing of reservations and new business leads are accurate and efficient.
6. To follow up all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary and facilitating site inspections with potential clients.
7. Handles Tele-sales enquiries and conduct targeted telesales when required.
8. Attend site inspection and entertainment when required.
9. Create and maintain the department database (Corporate and Leisure)
10. Responsible for month-end report submission and any other ad-hoc reports
11. All other matters related to the Sales department when required
