Description

Framework is a distributor of architectural building materials such as drywall, insulation and ceiling panels. We are focused on meeting the needs of the interior fit-out and decoration segment within the construction industry.

We are looking for an effective and energetic sales executive to join our team.

The challenge of this role is that you will need to find and develop new customer accounts.

You will:

  1. Hunt for prospective customers, including contractors, architects, and owners.

  2. Grow relationships with existing customer accounts.

  3. Learn about each customer's unique situation or requirement

  4. Close the deal with a recommendation tailored to each customer's specific need.

  5. Secure payment for goods.

  6. Coordinate logistics for delivery.

  7. Support the customer with technical advice to ensure smooth completion of their projects.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Target: Achieve the yearly sales target.

  • Product Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of our product lines, understand their applications, strengths, limitations, and what alternatives our competitors offer.

  • Customer Management: Manage existing customers and develop new accounts.

  • Collections: Ensure that customers pay on time. Keep close tabs on customers that may be in potential trouble so that we don't take on too much credit risk.

  • Order Fulfilment: Work closely with our logistics team to arrange deliveries.

  • Reporting: Gather market feedback on competitors, pricing and projects. Report on your sales activities, leads and potential opportunities.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Track record of a sales role, preferably in architectural building materials or related areas.

  • Communication & Interpersonal skills: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients. Persuasively communicate our value proposition.

  • Problem solving & Negotiation: Able to balance customer needs with business objectives. Effectively handle queries and resolve issues.

  • Availability: Able to work 5.5 days per week, including half-day on Saturdays from 8.30am - 12.30pm.
