Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Sales Executive to join our chemical industry team. This role is essential for helping our company's sales growth while ensuring the smooth execution of orders and effective management of logistics. The ideal candidate will not only be the primary point of contact for our customers but also assist in operational processes and collaborate with the accounting department to manage accounts receivable and payable. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the chemical industry, and the ability to multitask across different functions.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships,
understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. - Actively engage with new and existing customers through various
communication channels to identify and secure sales opportunities. - Provide clear, effective communication regarding products, prices, and
availability to customers. - Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable solutions.
Sales and Order Execution:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all sales orders
are entered into the system with correct information. - Coordinate with the production and supply chain teams to ensure timely
fulfillment of orders. - Monitor the status of pending orders and provide updates to customers as
required.
Logistics and Operations Assistance:
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and manage
logistics-related issues. - Assist in operational tasks to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the
delivery of our products and services. - Resolve any arising problems or complaints regarding sales, delivery, or
payment. - Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to
optimize delivery and distribution processes.
Financial Coordination:
- Work closely with the accounting department to manage accounts receivable
and ensure timely payments from customers. - Assist in managing accounts payable, including verifying and reconciling
invoices for services and goods related to sales activities.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor
activities. - Prepare sales reports and forecasts, providing insights into sales performance
and market opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive, preferably in the chemical industry or a related field. Atten to details will be important for this role.
- Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Bachelor degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field.
