Sales Executive [Machinery | Up to $4.3k]

Responsibilities: 

• Act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Maintain and update customer account information and records.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist with the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time product and service delivery.
• Manage and track sales orders from confirmation to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and offer customized solutions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other necessary documents.
• Keep sales records and documentation accurate and up to date.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating sales meetings, events, seminars, and exhibitions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Identify new potential business leads and pursue growth opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on research to support sales strategies.

Requirements: 

• A minimum of 2 years of sales or engineering experience in equipment and machinery sales, with regional exposure.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering is required.
• Proficiency in basic software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel is mandatory.
• Knowledge of vessel equipment, including engines, gearboxes, propellers, thrusters, and control & monitoring systems.
• Possession of a minimum Class 3 driver's license is preferred.
