Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive - Modernisation and New Installations

Who are we?

Operating across Europe and Asia, WeMaintain specialises in the maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems, combining hands-on technical expertise with technology and data.

Our approach is built on a simple belief: maintenance can be more reliable, transparent and effective when teams have the right tools, the autonomy to make decisions and a clear understanding of what's happening across the equipment they look after.

Since 2026, Otis has been our majority shareholder. WeMaintain continues to operate independently, retaining its own organisation and culture while benefiting from additional resources to support our growth.

Three core values guide the way we work every day:

• Care (looking after others): treating colleagues and customers with respect, consideration and a genuine sense of responsibility.

• Grit (determination): seeing things through with high standards, commitment and perseverance.

• Uniqueness (being different): embracing different perspectives, fresh ideas and new ways of doing things.

Our ambition is to raise the standards of maintenance, alongside the people who make it happen every day.

Why we're hiring

We're looking for a Sales Executive, Modernisation to join our Sales team in Singapore.

We're open to candidates at both Sales Executive and Senior Sales Executive level. What matters most is your commercial drive, understanding of the lift industry and potential to develop new business. The level of responsibility and autonomy will be tailored to your experience.

This is a newly created role. We want to give lift modernisation sales dedicated ownership, distinct from the existing focus on maintenance contracts. You'll develop opportunities from initial prospecting through to closing, including relevant tenders.

Initially, you'll report to Samson, Managing Director for Singapore. The reporting line is expected to move to a Head of Sales once that person is hired.

The main purpose of the role is to build and convert a pipeline of lift modernisation opportunities in Singapore, while working with internal teams to ensure proposals can be delivered.

What makes this role different at WeMaintain?

This role focuses specifically on lift modernisation sales. You'll own the commercial cycle, from finding and qualifying prospects through to developing proposals and closing deals.

In practice, you'll be responsible for:

• Identifying and approaching potential customers for lift modernisation projects.

• Building relationships with relevant customers and understanding their modernisation needs.

• Reviewing opportunities and tender requests, then coordinating the preparation and submission of bids.

• Developing commercial proposals and following negotiations through to contract signature.

• Working with the relevant internal teams to assess opportunities and align proposals with what WeMaintain can deliver.

Who we're looking for

Above all, we're looking for a commercially minded hunter who can build a pipeline and take lift modernisation opportunities through to a close. You'll need to be comfortable working independently and communicating confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Sales experience in the vertical transportation industry, with lift experience relevant to the role.

• Experience in sales or business development within the vertical transportation industry, whether you're building your career or already have an established track record.

• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships and winning new business.

• The ability to manage commercial opportunities independently or the ambition to develop towards full ownership of the sales cycle.

• Confidence identifying and pursuing prospects, building customer relationships and negotiating.

• For more experienced candidates, a proven track record of independently managing and closing complex modernisation or new installation projects.

• Professional fluency in English.

What would make you stand out

• An established professional network within Singapore's property management, facilities management or built environment sectors.

• Previous experience selling lift modernisation or new installations.

• Experience working on tenders and coordinating technical or commercial inputs.

• Knowledge of Singapore's lift market and customer landscape.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM platform.

These are genuine advantages, but they're not all essential. If you feel the core responsibilities match your experience and you identify with the way we work, we'd really encourage you to apply.

What you should know before joining us

We believe in being upfront about what a role involves. This position comes with:

• A strong focus on hunting and new business development.

• Ownership of the sales cycle, including tenders and negotiations through to closing.

• A specialist focus on lift modernisation, with sound technical and commercial knowledge for each project.

In return, you'll have the opportunity to establish a dedicated focus on modernisation sales and contribute directly to how WeMaintain develops this part of its business in Singapore.

This position will particularly suit someone who enjoys opening doors, working through complex sales cycles and turning customer needs into commercial proposals.

It may be less suited to someone looking for a role focused mainly on maintaining an established customer portfolio or handling inbound leads.
