Responsibilities
- To develop Life Science industries to achieve sales targets and objectives. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive sales growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Sales Forecasting: Forecast sales projections and trends to inform business decisions and strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Suppliers/ Agencies/ Inventories Management: Manage suppliers/ agencies, responsible to purchase stocks, manage inventory, price negotiation etc.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales representatives and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and achievements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Coaching Responsibilities: Provide regular coaching and feedback to sales representatives to improve skills and address areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 8 - 10 years in sales management, preferably in the Life Science industry.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Candidate must possess Class 3 Driving License (Preferred owned a car).
- Experience working with specific tools or technologies relevant to the Life Science industry. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the industry. Industry-specific certifications or training.
