Job Description - Sales Manager (Private Credit Funds)

Summary
We are seeking a Sales Manager to undertake thedistribution of private credit funds focused on U.S. residential real estate.This individual will originate and manage relationships with asset managers,IFAs, introducers, and potential investors, and will own the end-to-endprocess from prospecting through onboarding and capital calls.

The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong product knowledge, high integrity, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly across Singapore, Hong Kong, and U.S. stakeholders (investment, operations, legal/compliance, and leadership).

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Distribution

  • Develop and execute a distribution strategy to raise capital for a U.S. residential-focused private credit fund across target investor segments (asset managers, IFAs, introducers, family offices, and other qualified channels).
  • Source and qualify prospects, build and maintain a pipeline, and ensure investor eligibility aligns with Hong Kong SFC/HKMA professional investor requirements.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions with prospective investors, demonstrating fund/product fluency and the ability to address questions on strategy, risk, structure, liquidity, and portfolio fit.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including gatekeepers and investment committees.

Deal & Process Ownership (End-to-End)

  • Own the investor journey from initial outreach to investment completion: discovery, materials delivery, follow-ups, coordination of DD requests, subscriptions, and closing.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (investment team, IR, operations, legal, compliance, finance, and fund admin) to ensure a smooth, professional, and compliant onboarding experience.
  • Manage introducer/intermediary relationships, including engagement quality, commercial terms (where relevant), and ongoing partner performance.

Investor Communication & Ongoing Coverage

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investors and distribution partners post-investment, ensuring consistent updates, responsiveness, and relationship management.
  • Support investor reporting, updates, and ad-hoc requests in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Gather market intelligence and investor feedback to refine messaging, materials, and go-to-market approach.

Governance, Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure all marketing, distribution, and fundraising activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements, including Hong Kong SFC/HKMA requirements for professional investors and cross-border marketing considerations.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and CRM discipline: meeting notes, pipeline stages, next steps, and fundraising forecasting.

Leadership & Internal Coordination

  • Provide accurate fundraising forecasts and regular updates to management.
  • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, pitch decks, talking points, and investor FAQs, partnering with regional investment and marketing teams.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor forums as appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in fund distribution / capital raising / institutional sales, ideally within private credit, private markets or real estate credit.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive investor pipelines and close allocations through asset managers, private banks, IFAs, introducers, and institutional/family office networks.
  • Strong understanding of private fund structures and subscription processes (e.g., feeder structures, SPVs, onboarding/KYC flows, subscription documentation).
  • Familiarity with U.S. residential / housing credit themes is preferred (e.g., construction/real estate credit, housing-linked collateral).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging CIOs, PMs, IC members, family offices and sophisticated HNWIs.
  • Commercially driven, persistent, and highly organized—able to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders to closure.
  • Effective stakeholder management across geographies and functions; able to coordinate internal resources efficiently.
  • High integrity and professionalism with a client-first mindset.
