Sales Project Manager (Laser Marking Machines)

Or client is a leading laser equipment manufacturer. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager,
preference experience in automation and laser technical skills to lead and
execute laser-based projects from inception to completion. This role requires a
strong blend of sales acumen, project management skills, and technical
knowledge, requires frequent travel to India, fluency in Hindi, and the ability
to manage and mentor a team of Indian Sales Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution:
  
• Develop
  comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and
  resource allocation.
  
• Monitor project
  progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure adherence
  to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  
• Coordinate with
  cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and
  marketing.
  
• Technical Expertise:
  
• Provide frontline
  support, problem solving with factory backend support
  
• Possess a strong
  understanding of laser technology, applications, and industry trends.
  
• Provide technical
  guidance and support to project teams.
  
• Collaborate with
  laser engineers to develop innovative solutions.
  
• Evaluate and
  select appropriate laser systems and components for project requirements.
  
• Manage project
  risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  
• Customer Relationship
  Management:
  
• Build and maintain
  strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  
• Understand
  customer needs and translate them into project requirements.
  
• Manage customer
  expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their satisfaction.
  
• Team Leadership:
  
• Lead and motivate
  project teams to achieve project objectives.
  
• Foster a
  collaborative and productive work environment.
  
• Provide mentorship
  and coaching to team members.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/ mechanical,
  or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
  in Sales / project management, preferably in the laser industry.
  
• Proven track record of successful
  project delivery.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of
  laser systems and applications.
  
• Excellent communication and
  interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a
  fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving and
  decision-making abilities.
  
• Ability to travel to India or domestic to
  customer site (50% of time)
  
• Fluency in Hindi will be a Plus
  
• PMP certification
  would be a plus
