Sales Representative - Hiring Immediately

• Northshore based; Competitive base + vehicle (some personal use) OTE $100-$130k
• Tools of the trade provided; laptop, phone
• Building trade; must be an all rounder; proven sales background essential 

Seeking a sales personality with a strong track recording of delivering on targets; Northshore based; well regarded brand; salary base negotiable for the right person.
 
This role sits in a very competitive space in the industry.  My client is a timber supplier based on the Northshore with a strong name in the market.  The territory is Northshore based and requires established strong working relationships within the building trade.  You will receive all tools of the trade, including a vehicle and an agreement allowing some personal use.  
 
Qualifications & experience

• Three years or more sales experience, ideally in NZ timber supplies
• Tech savvy, able to work with the admin requirement (entering accurate data into the sales CRM)
• Good with numbers, able to understand mark-ups / margins and how these are calculated.
• Able to demonstrate relationship selling and ability to close deals
• A deep interest and understanding or the construction industry - potentially you have strong relationships already established that you are able to leverage off

 Tasks & responsibilities

• Manage sales across the Northshore area, directly with builders and their requirements
• Educate and train our customers around products and availability, attending trade functions as and when required
• Follow leads and opportunities to foster sales development.
• Provide quality market information to assist the company in achieving sales targets and identifying potential opportunities.
• Take full responsibility for achieving sales target and margin returns as agreed.
• Assisting key customers with ordering the right product at the right time

 This role is rewarded on a commission basis, a company ute, tablet and mobile phone are provided.  It is expected that the successful candidate will be mostly working out of the office, so you will be accustomed to managing your week independently.
