Job Description - Sales Solution Engineer |Up to$5500 | Bonus +VB

Our client is a well-known manufacturing doing pioneering piping and valve supplies. This role focuses on lead generation, which includes conducting market research, developing solutions, prospecting, and expanding referral networks to uncover potential clients. Your goal is to deliver exceptional service to the clients by identifying the right products and collaborating to create practical solutions that address their business needs.

You will work closely with others to grow the business by managing relationships with both current and prospective clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term connections.

Benefits:

  • Transport allowance: $500 fixed + 0.60/KM on a claim basis with a cap of $400 per month
  • Handphone reimbursement up to $75 per month 
  • Commission based.

Job Responsibilities:

Grow the Business and Meet Sales Targets

  • Generate and qualify new leads, scheduling appointments via phone, LinkedIn, and email for introductions or sales presentations.
  • Use consultative selling, cross-selling, or up-selling techniques to provide professional services related to company products/services.
  • Build and nurture client relationships by keeping them informed about new products, offering innovative solutions, and providing ongoing pre- and post-sales support.
  • Stay updated on technical developments to discuss and co-create engineering solutions with clients.
  • Analyze client needs and suggest cost-effective improvements.
  • Create and tailor materials and presentations that highlight key product features and technical solutions.
  • Manage accounts through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to post-sales support.

Coordinate Sales Efforts to Support Growth and Meet Sales Targets

  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate sales efforts.
  • Identify customer needs, offer solutions, and manage client expectations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to propose product improvements or new offerings.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tenders, proposals, and quotations for clients.
  • Maintain records of client interactions and sales activities, and generate regular reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and sales orders with clients.
  • Collaborate with external partners to finalize deals.
  • Provide weekly updates on sales activities, leads, pipelines, and opportunities.
  • Share relevant sales and competitor information to enhance team performance.
  • Resolve client complaints by investigating issues and developing effective solutions.

Maintain High-Quality Customer Service

  • Address client complaints and provide timely after-sales support.
  • Offer technical advice and support to clients.
  • Keep clients informed of any unexpected delays or issues and arrange alternatives to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of client contacts and services provided.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure responsiveness and build strong relationships that lead to new or additional sales.
  • Uphold quality service by adhering to the company’s service standards.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients, offering relevant information and solutions while maintaining professionalism in the industry.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical and/or engineering sales, preferably within the refinery, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and conferencing software.
