Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales team.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
Process customer purchase orders and create sales orders in the ERP system.
Coordinate with service, operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Liaise with customers regarding enquiries, quotations, delivery schedules, and order status.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales documentation, and contract files.
Coordinate with suppliers and principals for product pricing, lead times, and technical documentation.
Assist in arranging service attendance, vessel schedules, and certification documentation where required.
Prepare invoices and supporting documents for completed jobs.
Monitor outstanding quotations and follow up with customers to maximise conversion opportunities.
Support tender submissions and ensure all required documentation is complete.
Assist the sales team in achieving revenue targets through efficient sales administration.
Generate sales reports and maintain accurate records within the CRM/ERP system.
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and marine industry requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of sales support, customer service, or sales coordination experience.
Experience in the marine, offshore, shipyard, lifeboat, marine safety, or engineering industry will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude and strong follow-up skills.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of SOLAS requirements and marine safety equipment.
Familiarity with lifeboats, davits, rescue boats, launching appliances, or marine safety products.
Experience supporting vessel owners, ship management companies, shipyards, or offshore operators.
Understanding of marine service scheduling and certification processes is an added advantage.
