Job Description - Sales Team Leader (SG, B2B sales/ SME banking)

Summary of the Position

·       Lead and hire a team of SME Relationship Managers to achieve team and individual targets.

·       Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the SME portfolio (loans,asset backed, trade finance, etc.).

·       Identify new market opportunities and client segments for penetration.

·       Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, coach, and manage a sales team.

What will you do:

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, sales huddles, and joint fieldwork.
  • Motivate team to uphold high standards of client servicing and compliance.
  • Drive acquisitions of new SME clients through proactive prospecting and referrals
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from client onboarding to product fulfilment
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned


Requirements

What will you need:

  • Minimum 5 years of SME banking or B2B sales experience.
  • At least 2 years in a team lead or managerial capacity.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
