SAP BOBJ Specialist

Job Summary:

Experienced SAP BOBJ Specialist / Sr. Developer .

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in SAP and a strong understanding of the BOBJ process.

As a SAP BOBJ Specialist / Sr. Developer, they will be responsible for gathering / understanding business requirements, build / modify universes and develop reports to meet client requirements.

Job Description :

• Strong Technical Expert in reporting using SAP Business Objects 4.2 and above
• Understand business requirements through interacting with data analysts , business and end-users.
• Should be strong knowledge in Data designing or modeling the data in order to work with universe level changes.
• Strong Development experience on BOBJ Universe, security and Reports.
• Develop universe or modify universe based on the customer requirement.
• Facilitate design and develop processes utilizing best standards.
• Develop solutions in accordance to client specifications.
• Develop Webi reports or modify reports based on the demand from customers.
• Should be able to develop follow standards, best practices, procedures and key metrics to enhance operational stability of the BOBJ environments.
• Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of SQL knowledge, data warehousing, relational database concepts, including analytical tools, architecture, interface processes, networking, multidimensional modelling, data warehouse concepts, and data conversion.
• Communicate project status to team members.
• Perform unit testing of reports to ensure all reports are working as expected.
• Perform sanity testing of critical reports across environment.
• Ensure all reports are aligned as per the client standards and naming conventions if any are followed accordingly.
• Perform testing on migrated reports from Dev to QA or QA to PROD.
• Resolve complex issues arising in projects execution.
• Good to have experience in administration on SAP BOBJ applications.
• Good to have experience to plan, administer and maintain BOBJ folder hierarchy and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP with a focus on SAP BOBJ
• Strong knowledge of BOBJ processes, procedures, and best practices
• Proficient in SAP BIBO functionality and related tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Good to have SAP certification in BOBJ and Good Knowledge on (Oracle 12c/19c and PL SQL)
